I GOTS ME A NEW JOB. HA Ha!

so here I was yesterday all tired and stuff wanting to go to sleep at 7 cuz i was up since 5:30 and working none stop for a good 8 hours, with a 10 hour shift at Mccy D's. got home tired out of my mind. Ralph come up to me and tells me something that remind me of my first job and how i got that.

him:"hey you want a job at my work?"
me:"yeah."
him:"you have an interview tomorrow at 9"
me:" "

kinda like when Jeremy did that to me with lamppost. only difference. THIS JOB IS FANTASTIC!

ok so I got up around 6 ish this morning and got a call from McDonalds. today was supposed to be my day off. at first i said no. but then i though if i don't get the job i will need the hours. so i agreed to come in at 10 and work till 4. went to work with ralph all dressed up all professional and crap. and take a typing test. now ralph tells me he knew only one person to ever fail the test. they were retarded or something. it was at a minimum 20 WPM (words per minute ) took the test....got 6... she told me to try again on another computer. got a 5.............. took it again after she explained what i was to do a little more. got 24! yay

then i filled out two applications and got interviewed by the main boss.talk to him a little tell him that i have worked with customers alot and work hard and all that crap. smiling and stuff. best part of the interview. :

him:" so you are bi lingual."
me:" uhh... no I'm not"
him:" what?...but... your last name is Mexican sounding."

any who after the interview he told me ya know what. I'm ganna go ahead and give you the next test. and just to let you know thats a good sign. we have to pay to have you take this test. normally we call people back before they take the test. so I take the test and talk to human resources getting evaluated. she tells me

" so yeah just to let you know you got the job. but we are still ganna call to tell you you got it but yeah. you start on monday."

I was late to McDonalds cuz it took me longer to get done then I thought BUT WHO CARES? I got a much better job. ha ha. i asked to leave early cuz ya know. i hate that place. so they let me and i got some food and since i was so early getting off my ride was far away. so i walked around for 2 hours. spent some time at JC penny's seeing if they had anything good. two really nice paired of pants. found a pair of carpi and a shirt that was nice and OMG... I even tried on a skirt, and it looked damn good. then i looked at the price tags. and then put everything back and ran out of the building.

after walking a little more reading things at books a million (local book store)I walked back to the place where ralph works (and now me) and they said to go ahead and fill out the paper work so I could start working. get everything done. and now starting Monday from 7- 3:30 I will be in training for Vangent!

so Fuck McDonalds and it's $6 an hour! I'm getting $10.79 an hour here! and thats just starting pay! with FULL benefits! payed vacations and payed sick time!
I'm getting my pay check from McDonald's tomorrow, and telling my boss i quit. hell i'm not even ganna put in two weeks notice. tomorrow will be my last day why? cuz i don't need the hours anymore I make more money a month now then all the people I work with! hell i think I make more them the fucking BOSS!

so yeah. my last mcy d's check is so going toward paying off my credit card. and buying food and having fun. also put in my savings. i might invest in buying transportation as soon as i learn to drive and getting a gym member ship. fun fun fun

it's funny knowing i now make enough money to buy a house in Kentucky easily. and live completely on my own. whats funnier. me and ralph both make that much. and we are splitting the bills now. we will both have enough left over every month to buy whatever we want. as soon as i get vacation time. i am coming back to visit. oh hellz yeah.

and in case you are all wondering. here is my job description: I am working for Medicare in a way. I am customer service. I sit at a desk in my own little cubical, people call me and ask me a question. and i tell them the answer... that is typed out on a computer screen in front of me. I pretty much read of FAQ sheet when people ask a question. easy job. great pay.

coming here was the best thing to ever happen to me. I'm glad I did it. my life is actually going somewhere! I'm not an hourly worker now. i have a career. I don't just have a job and money going nowhere, toward anything. I have bills, and still have money to play with. having fun. meeting new people seeing new things. having new experiences. and doing it all with someone I love and loves me. thank you family who support me( parents, kudos for the great job on raising me) and fuck you people who don't, I am creating a better life them you could ever imagine ever having for yourself. and i bet that just kills you. huh?

McDonalds paycheck+tax money+ new job = perfect life.

this time I don't care if i have high hopes. I deserve to feel good after sucking at life so hard forever ^_^
